Anti-discrimination agencies of the federal states

Caution

These rules apply to all EU citizens in Austria.

Anti-discrimination means equal treatment. Anti-discrimination therefore means that no person may be unjustifiably disadvantaged or treated unequally on the basis of a personal characteristic.

The anti-discrimination agencies of the federal states offer information, advice and support to affected persons if the alleged discrimination is related to state regulations.

Contact

The Federal Equal Treatment Office (GAW) and its regional offices in the federal states are responsible for discrimination cases directly related to federal regulations.
